Boosting Happiness in Challenging Times: A Workshop for Parents and Caregivers
Have we, as parents, teachers, caregivers, and caring adults ever faced so many challenges to maintaining our happiness? With COVID and a myriad of socio-political stressors surrounding us, can we actually boost our happiness? Positive psychology says it IS possible, that there are ways to lean into our experiences of challenge, hardship, and stress to emerge stronger, kinder, and more balanced. Join Kelli Kirshtein, MSW, LICSW, School Adjustment Counselor at CCHS and Adjunct Professor at Simmons University School of Social Work, to discuss what challenges us, and how we can learn and use happiness/mindfulness practices to greet the school year with greater optimism and (relative) calm.
4 Thursdays, July 30th – August 20th from 10:30 am – 12 pm, Tuition: $100
