Summer Trumpet Workshop
Want to learn the secret trumpet player handshake? Join us for our Summer Trumpet Workshop! The workshop is open to any and all participants with at least one year of experience. Students will participate in small trumpet ensembles, varying in size from 3-8 performers, as well as a larger trumpet choir. Participants will also engage in interactive learning about jazz, the different types of trumpets, and warm-up ideas. If you’re interested in performing a solo, you will have an opportunity to perform in a masterclass setting. Please join us!
- Middle school students will meet from 5:00 – 6:00 pm
- Everyone will come together from 6:00 – 7:00 pm
- High school students will meet from 7:00 – 8:00 pm
We will meet Monday through Thursday, July 8 – 11. Our final concert will be Friday, July 12 at 12:00 pm.
